WAY FORWARD

Well, I have survived the Ford "Way Forward" salary job elimination!! My husband's job is safe too. With almost 28 years put into my career, I'd really hate not to be able to get my 30 in. Although I will have 30 years on March 7th of 2008, I can't retire until July 1st, 2008 (due to some time off I took after I had my 3rd child). Anyway, just thought I would post the good news about my job! Actually the position I have been in for the past 5 years was eliminated, BUT they did find me a new job, and I am taking 1/2 of what I was doing with me into my new position. I think I can do this new job for the next 2 1/2 years!!!! There is a lot less stress and my new section seems to be a lot of fun, and very helpful.............until next time, ta ta for now!
